Some reasons why don't I want to be a member of JKT48

(warning: this is an unimportant post! wakakakakakakb48)

1. I'm on my way to turn 23 years old.
2. I'm wearing a hijab.
3. I'm a senior student about to finish her study very soon
4. I don't want to be banned from dating
5. I'm overweight
6. I'm going to be a teacher very soon.
7. I dance poorly
8. I can't sing well
9. I don't want to live in jakarta
10. I don't want my private life being known by public
11. I do want to be loved, but I don't think being over-adored is good. Well, I have experiencing adoring my favorite teacher too much and she felt annoyed. What's worse, I did this for years.
12. I want to be a linguist.
13. Being a member of JKT48 means a limitation on using twitter. Well, as what I observed, everytime they tweet, they mostly say this: "Hai, udah makan?" "Lagi ngapain?" "Besok aku Theater" ewww...... seems that they never tweet any other topic, or are they forbidden to do so? can you imagine if a member of JKT48 tweeted this: "ndi @mashuriMAM @muse_encha @uchan_trueblue jarene kate kelompokan???"
14. Having a tight schedule and to spend every nights for rehearsal makes my thesis abandoned.
15. I still want to keep all my social media accounts and to keep in touch with my friends.
16. I want to concentrate on my thesis
17. The reason above is actually what I have to do now instead of posting this
18. I still want to eat cilok SMAN 8 very often
19. In fact, I don't know who are the members of AKB48. If I work as a member of JKT48, it means that I have to be a fan of AKB48 also, and to find an oshimen. Well, I'm not a japanese things enthusiast, even I know JKT48 firstly than AKB48, and  I don't want to be a wota.
when I was a teen, I was a wota of Westlife (heeey, westlife is an Irish boyband, why do I use the term 'wota'??) Yes, my affection for them was waaaaaaaay to big. I WAS!
20. I'm actually already a member of a(n UNofficial parody) group of 48 family, it is......

TRIP TO GOA CINA WITH MY FELLOW SENATORS

It was the first time for me to visit a beach – moreover, it’s a beach in the southern part of this island, where the tides are high and strong – with my friends, riding a motorcycle.

We went to GOA CINA beach, Kab. Malang.
It was indeed absogoddamnlutely a greeeeeeeeeeeeat, so much fun!!!

Pre-departure

We departed at 9.00 am. Zen was the navigator, for he knows the route.
It took us approximately 3 hours for the journey. During the journey, everything I saw was mostly green rice fields, blue sky, and chirpy birds cheering us, the happy 16 senators of DMF Sastra UM J

We arrived there after dhuhur time and we parked our motorcycle, then we gathered to have a meal.

Finished with the meal, we put our bags in a storage place, some of us changed clothes and…. It’s time for playing in the beach!!!

My happy shriek

We laid on the shore and let ourselves hit by the great tide. I was worried about being drowned, but I grabbed any friends beside me, thank God I’m saved. It was so much fun to feel the splash, to feel the salty sea water poured my face, to be hit by the tide, to feel the wind, to yell that loud….

Le Me being hit by the tide

Look! we had so much fun, rite?

It was almost 5 p.m when we finally finished playing on the beach and clean ourselves. GOSH! sands are everywhere, on my hair, on my ears, and even in the smallest hem on my trousers and in the pocket of my top. I needed a very hard effort to get rid of those damn sands, haha....

a snapshot taken before going home

I want to maintain this friendship, I want to keep this harmony.
I want us to stay strong, stronger than ever.
Lord, please bless this fraternity, strengthen our bond and make us
YOUR loved ones....

We finally started our journey to come back home when it was already dusk. Mbak Ulin drove my motorcycle. it took another 3 hours journey and I kept on praying, May Allah save us during this risky journey. You know, we went through hills with many loops and it was dark already.
At about 9.00 p.m, we finally arrived in Malang and stopped on a food stall to have supper.

finished with the supper, we finally went hooooome !
we were extremely exhausted, and we admit that we should clean ourselves again, many of us said that sands are still sticking everywhere.

It was a great fun, senators... thanks for the wonderful experience.
We should experience a great vacation like this again one day!!
Love y'all, senators!

I AM THIS STRONG! I PROMISE!

Hi, dear.....
it was 2 weeks ago when I had a farewell party with one of the best lecturers I have, Bu Evi Eliyanah....
which one is the lecturer ?
She will depart to Oz to pursue her Ph.D.  Lord, what a bless YOU give for a bright and excellent lecturer like her...
I experienced being taught by her twice, on my Basic English Grammar and Critical Listening class. Well, FYI, my 21st birthday was celebrated on her class, hehe.

I learned many things from her, It's such a honor to be taught by her.

On the farewell party, we watched a documentary film about a prostitution in Trenggalek, and a discussion afterwards.
Finished with the discussion, Bu Evi continued with how the story relates with our life. And her tough life as well.
It was a very touching story, dear .....

and I remember her words exactly,

"You have to push yourself that hard. Get out from your comfort zone."

You know, dear...
Bu Evi cried when uttering those words, and so did we. It started with Sita who said, "Maam, we won't meet you again after this. We'll be missing you"....  Yes, Sita said it with tears. Then most of us couldn't hold our tears also....

I was very touched by her words. It was awakening me. Thanks, maam :)

Dear, to tell you the truth,
During these months, I got a problem - a big one. Perhaps it sounds silly for you - and for any other youths.

Dear, I'm in love.

And I'm in love with a guy who has a girlfriend already.

You can simply say "Ignore him! find another one!" if you hear me saying that, yes, I'm in love.
What's worse, for 22 years I live, this is the first time I fall in love with a guy - a guy I really meet in the real world and am interacting with.

I used to be a fan of my teacher - and what's worse, I was kinda exaggerating.
If my teacher were a member of JKT48, I am surely a wota of her. Yes, my affection to my teacher was in a Wota level. (hehe, I finally understand the term "WOTA" after being a fan of JKT48, lol). Many friends said that I care about her too much.

It is a mistake. I admit it. And I regret, now I have promised myself not to focus on her too much, I forget my longing feeling of being taught by her, and I let myself busy in my activities as an English Tutor, Senator, and a senior student.
Allah is kind, He gave me an object to distract me from my teacher, a very fabulous one. He's my friend in this university.

I didn't realize when my heart was brought by his wave and then drowned inside his ocean.
I didn't realize it at all, suddenly I feel hopeless inside his wave. I couldn't do anything but hoping. A wish I sing inside these tears. When I realized that I can't reach him although I have a very good interaction with him....

A friend said to me, "Ngie, you can't put your hopes on him. His heart is locked already"

You know how much that hurts. I believe that all of you know it better than me, dear... This is the first time for me to fall in love with a guy, and I haven't been in a relationship before.

I couldn't do anything but to let myself burst into tears.
And I keep on hoping for him but I can't get him. I can't make him mine...

It's very hard to kick this feeling out of my heart. Harder than anything. Harder than doing a thesis. Harder than doing 100 physics test items. When he's always around. Along with the melody played in my mind.

I can't stand of it.
It hurts indeed.

Now, after 22 years living in this world, I finally know how it feels to fall in love and got broken heart at the same time. I fell into ruins.  I simply have no passion to do anything.
In short, is it what-so-called depression?

A friend told me,
"Ngie, you are multi-talented. There are many things in front of you that can make you shine"

I try to distract myself from this affection. I dared myself to do so.
I tried to dare myself to do some things unusual that can refresh my feeling. And I tried to....

perform HEAVY ROTATION DANCE on sastra soultime 4!! hahaha...
believe me ? believe me? I Danced HEAVY ROTATION!

OK, I don't want to talk too much about that event. I danced poorly, you know.

The most important thing is the efforts I do for moving on. Yea, moving on is hard, I know.
I remember what Bu Evi said, that I have to push myself this hard, push myself from this affection....

I'm saying to myself,

I am this strong. I am this tough. God set me to be a fighter. Anxiety due to this affection should not make me fall down.
Although it's very hard, but I keep on fighting!!

Bismillah! Taiyou shita waratte, utare, odore, JIYUU NI!!

Senators Night Out!

Dear, long time no post =)
Living life as a senator is not as hectic as being a legatoer, actually. But I'm drowned inside this craziness, yeah - my fellow senators are so damn crazy! I love them all :)
It was the first time for me to spend the whole night sitting in the coffee shop and play cards with my fellow senators. So, let the story begins....

jreng-jreng-jreng-jreng...
Once upon a time....
The faculty of letters were having its student election on December 6th. We, the senators, are appointed as the election supervisor (PANWASLU). Started in the morning, the election was being held, and we finished at 3.pm. We, of course, also vote for our favorite candidate of The president of BEMFA and HMJ.
Fery, Bita, and me :)
we still have a right to vote and that's what we did

After the voting booths are closed, I left and had a translation class with Mr. Arif :)

I went home to take a bath, have some meals and do houseworks. Finished with those stuffs, then I went back to the campus to see the vote-counting.
Many friends said that the vote-counting always takes a looooooooong time. usually it is finished at 2. am in the morning. Therefore, I prepared a glass of coffee and a jar of snacks.

I arrived at the campus at approximately 7 p.m. and the vote-counting were still running, and - guess what - the committee did some breakthrough to make the counting done faster!
Yeah, they divided themselves based on the amount of the voting booths. So , there were 3 rooms occupied for each voting booth to count the votes.
They can do it quickly, and they finished counting the votes at 10 p.m!
Great job, KPU FS :)

After finished the vote-counting, we announce officially that these are the winners of the students election...

Bayu Ilham Pribadi as the President of Student Executive Board
Ahmad Afwan Yazid as the head of HMJ Sastra Arab
Ahmad Fiekri Isfandiari as the head of Legato
Ahmad Zamrozi as the head of HMJ Sedesa
Bramastyo Dhieka as the head of HMJ Sastra Jerman
Wildan Taufiqur Rahman as the head of HMJ Sastra Indonesia

CONGRATS, FELLAS! YOU CAN PERFORM A GREAT WORK!

Anyway, why do there are many 'ahmad' names on you, fellas?

After the heart-touching handshaking session and the recital of Hymne FS UM, we had a supper at the veranda of D8 building. it was great to cooperate with you, KPU FS..

Finished with the supper, we felt like we kinda have no willing to go home directly. We still had an eager to go out and enjoy the long night. And we finally decided to go to... KOPJA!
to have a cup of coffee....

look at our tired faces, hahaha.

To tell you the truth, it was the first time for me to go out that late, hehe. Firstly I've asked a permission from my mom to have a sleepover at a friend's home, the vote-counting was my reason.

In fact, we finished earlier and we could have a chance to enjoy the long night. It was the first time for me to spend the whole night at a roadside coffee shop and playing cards. We had a very warm chat that tighten our hearts, strengthen our bond and makes me feel blessed to have them in my life. Love y'all, senators :)

We laughed, we discussed many interesting plans to do, we did have a great time. We play cards and I mostly lose the game. I'm a newbie, guys. You ordered an alcoholic coffee and you feel okay, hahaha. For the first time I dared myself to take my friends' cigarette which is put on an asthray, I held it and I asked my friend to capture me bringing the lit-up cigarette. People who don't know will think that I'm smoking, but in fact, I'm NOT a smoker, hehe.

It was an unforgettable night...
We plan to go to bromo...
We encourage Fery to smoke (in fact, he hardly ever smokes, haha). And he did! we cheered....
Bita and Zain couldn't be defeated on the Poker game,
I shared with Ghany about my dream of having a powerful voice as what Dodo "D'cinnamons" has, and he said "It's a matter of a prenatal talent. She's gifted. You have to rehearse a lot".

It was indeed a great night and I'm eager to experience it again one day :)

I know we are this strong,

Too bad it will be only one year with you, guys. Everything passes so fast....

Let's work harder for the upcoming events, guys. Let's prove that we are the generation that should be proud of :)

things that made me thankful today :) Alhamdulillah...

  1. Had a help from Sulthon to set up my netbook in order to make it connected to ESAC's hotspot. yes, now I'm able to use my google chrome for browsing the net in this public WiFi.
  2. Had a super absogoddamnlutely FANTASTIC Trends and Issues in Linguistics class. We invite Pak Effendi Kadarisman to teach us about Verbal Humor and Ethnopoetics. well, actually Pak Effendi is supposed to be our lecturer for this class, but, due to his ill health (he is suffering from uric acid) , he can't teach so many classes. therefore, for this class, he gives it to Bu Renzy. Pak Effendi gave us a very, very clear and complete explanation of verbal humor (along with the examples that made us laugh out loud), and he also demonstrates his ability in nembang when he explained ethnopoetics. we were totally AMAZED. we gave a big applause. I got many new things about ethnopoetics from him. He is very great! May Allah bless him...
  3. Had a great chat with my seniors. at first, I met mbak Rina, who finished her study only in 7 semesters (waw!) and now worked as a teacher in pandaan. Somehow, I have to set up my mind to believe that I won't be jobless, as long as I struggle and keep on praying. I also met mbak Ayin, now working as an assistant lecturer, she shared a lot of things about her 'trouble' students. About their 'poor' ability in catching the missing lyrics on song-listening activity. (anyway, Mbak Ayin uses Mocca's song, secret admirer, for the listening activity. yayaaay! I remember when I worked for Ar Rohmah Boarding School, I used Owl City's, Demi Lovato's, and Katy Perry's song as the listening material, hehe)
  4. I met my favorite lecturer, and greeted her. what made me delighted was that she replied me with a very friendly tone, in 'medhok' javanese accent that I usually use when I talk to my friends, and it made me feel that I am that close with her, as close as two bestfriends.
  5. When we consulted our slideshows for tomorrow's presentation to Pak Beye (hehe, we call him that way, he is our lecturer for Thesis Proposal Seminar), he said that my draft is good (haha... I include the screenshots of some renowned bloggers, such as Diana Rikasari and Tiananda Widyarini) and, guess what? in the end of the consultation, he gave a pack of Dendeng to my friend, Ines. he said that it's good for boarding house kids. Ines will fry those Dendengs and bring them to tomorrow's class, so that the whole class will enjoy it :)
  6. The Student Legislative board is about to order for our official blazer!!! yes, finally, we are going to have a uniform that makes us proud. We are one. United in this bond. The senators of Faculty of Letters. Viva Legislativa, Hyuuuuwk!
THANKS GOD, Your blesses made my day :) I am motivated to learn more about linguistics, and to pursue my dream to learn about Constructed Language for my master's degree overseas. amin.

2011 CALEIDOSCOPE

I wanna share to you my 2011 caleidoscope.... haha
finally I finished all the assignments and I feel relieved.... *jumping jumping like destiny's child

so... here they are

JANUARY 2011

the first time working for Student Executive Board, as a committee of Karnaval Sastra. I was appointed as the event-planning division for Malam berbintang lima, the celebration night of Karnaval Sastra. Also, in this january, for the first time, I was appointed as the captain of the class. It was on the critical reading class, taught by Bu Iroh who was pregnant at that time =). Well, starting on this January, I am officially an English LINGUISTICS student. it's because starting on the 4th semester, the courses we take determines the specialization we major. I took TEFL, it shows that I belong to linguistics.

FEBRUARY 2011

Is there something special on february? emmm.... not really. ah, yeah! the TEFL lecturer, Mr. Andi Muhtar gave me an assignment that required me to meet my English teacher when I was at SMANAWA! hoho, I came back to smanawa and interviewed my favorite English teacher Bu Intyas Yanuartanti.... waaaa, I found out that Bu Intyas knows Pak Andi muhtar :) having a teacher that graduates from the same university with me is such an interesting thing, I can share many things about the lecturers we have :)
Also, in this month, I befriend with a japanese student, Sayumi Mizuno. She is an AIESEC participant having a project in Malang, introducing Japanese culture to senior high school students. I'm glad to befriend with foreigners... :)

MARCH 2011

On march, the critical reading course ended. ENDED? yeah. due to the lecturer's pregnancy, and she was going to have the termination in April, therefore she decided to add 2 additional classes. Hey, what a hectic schedule, dude. During these 3 months I had 4 reading classes and we worked very hard. it feels like taking 26 credits. ahahaha! it was so hard, when finally this class finished, I yelled "YAAAAAAAAAAAYY, I'M TAKING 18 CREDITS NOW! THOSE 4 CREDITS FINALLY GONE!".

APRIL 2011

Officially becoming a SWINGING FRIENDS (Mocca's friendsclub). attending the meeting in MOG to prepare the gathering, and I met new nice friends. Dewi, Icha, Jono, Eva, Nungki, Wini, Alfi, Rosa, and many more.
I finally know how it feels to be a member of a fans club, to befriend with many people who have the same interest.
Also, on april, I got a nephew. Meet ISMAIL MUHAMMAD... he was born on April 16th, 2011 =). He is the second son of Bu Iroh and Pak Agung.... waaa, I feel so delighted to have this handsome nephew.

MAY 2011

becoming the coordinator of English 3D Wallchart competition for SMA student on Legato Anniversary is kinda hectic and stressing, but at last I feel relieved seeing the event was finally done successfully =)
I turned 21 on May 3rd. thanks God.. for being given a chance to live, to have a chance to learn....
On May 14th I met MOCCA, my favorite band, and I had a very good time with Swinging Friends.

JUNE 2011

My teeth's plumbing got broken. it INDEED hurt. It made me shout crazily inside my bedroom. therefore, I couldn't go anywhere.
Oh yeah, I also worked for Cerita Segala Rasa magazine and interviewed a senior lecturer, Bu Siu.

JULY 2011

On july 15th I had a music night with my friends at pak murdib's house. well pak murdib and his wife, bu arwijati, are both our lecturers... I love their classes so much. I sang Looking Through the Eyes of Love and Menanti Sebuah Jawaban. nice event =)
Most unforgettable day: July 25th. Had a lunch with big sist! we ate at Pizza Hut matos, then we went to hypermart, and had photobox shoot =) I LOVE THE PICSSSSSS!!
Not long after, my parents forced me to go to jember, accompanying my Aunt who was hospitalized because of her diabetes. I said, "SUUUUCCCKK!" I really wanted to be in campus, being a committee of OSPEK!

AUGUST 2011

Oh, SMANAWA's anniversary is absolutely not to be missed. I love that school very much, this emotional bond will never fade. Also, on this august, for the first time, I am expelled from my bedroom. My Aunt (whom I told u above, who suffers a diabetes) is finally treated in malang, after 1 month hospitalized in jember. Until this very second when I typed this post, auntie still stays in my home, and I don't know when will she go home. :-( T_T

SEPTEMBER 2011

Having a long holiday is so SUCK. believe me.
My Murabbi (mentor) interrogated me why did I never show up in Majelis dakwah sekolah's events, the halaqoh (Islamic Study forum), and I also disappeared in their FB group. I also behave as if I against them, by blaming them in my FB status as if they restrict me on expressing my narcissisms creativity.
Finally I said, "Well, somehow I am DIFFERENT with you all. you are way too shy to show yourselves. you don't want to show your photo in FB. you only want to sing only in female forums and afraid if there's a man hearing your voice. you avoid showing up in public. Different with me. Even I have a desire to be a model. I love lipsyncing and upload it in my FB. I love singing, accompanied by my friend playing guitar, and they are BOYS!. I love dancing. When Tani Maju, Jawaika, or any other bands perform on Sastra's events, I don't hesitate to come up in front of the stage with the crowd, and dance together, along with the music! I love being in a flash mob! while you expect me to be like you, and you forbid me to have these kind of activities!"

finally my murobbi said, "So I have understood it now. that you don't want to be with us"
I said, "It's up to you if you make such kind of conclusion"
then she said "OK, it means that now we're over, you're no longer in our halaqoh forum. rite?"
I said, "It's OK"

The conclusion is, I QUIT from that organization after being inactive for approximately one year. after working with them from 2008-mid 2010. I finally quit.

Dear, to be a religious person, I don't need a big headcover, skirts, socks, a forum where girls (ooops, Akhwats) and boys (ooops, ikhwans) are separated with curtain, a halaqoh forum, a must of hiding our photos hn FB, a must of singing only in female forums, the use of ana-antum-akhi-ukhti-afwan language, and many other stuffs I had when I joined that organization. What I learn when I work for Ormawa Sastra ir that we are free to express ourselves in many kinds of media, in the name of freedom of expression. I indeed do agree with this. I uphold the freedom of expression. Nothing's wrong with it. that's why I feel nothing wrong when I danced along with my friends on music nights held by BEM Fakultas Sastra.

Dear ukhti, I'm different :) if you think you can't go with it, it's OK. What's the meaning of happiness for you, have it your way.

OCTOBER 2011

Dear, being appointed as a fundraiser of English month 9 is somehow a SUCK. I hate having miss-communication with the sponsor who actually misunderstood the proposal and the MoU, but they blamed us. C*zz*! d*fici**te! c*gn*!
Also, I finally resigned from Ar Rohmah Putri. FREED.... FREEDDDDDDD....

NOVEMBER 2011

Finally finished the service period in Legato, with many sorts of memories..
I can't feel the time passed by, and finally I finish the beautiful 2 years.
Also, my junior high school teacher whom I call Mama, Bu Sugi, ask me to tutor her daughter for English subject. Yaay, finally I can earn some money to buy room decorations

DECEMBER 2011

Officially appointed as a senator :) I'm now the head of Prosperity Commission of Student Legislative board. my duty is to check the inventory of our office, and make the office into a homey place :)
Also, our CCU class held a CCU gathering where we had so much fun. Icha, a friend from the other CCU class, performed Tari Topeng. My classmate Renisya with her SBSquad performed korean dance. And, of course, me - as a Swinging Friends who is fond of Arina Mocca, performed TAP DANCE!
Finally, thanks God I had a chance to show my dancing skill.

Those are just a few of the stories I had back in 2011....

Resolutions? Why? I make resolutions not in every new year, but in every Birthday!
But I do hope that I can be more mature, not to blame every single thing so easy,
to be more calm on facing everything.
And, one more thing. should I say it now?
OK.
Dear, I want a... yeah, Boyfriend.
#huekbyooooor Angie talking about boyfriend? wait wait, she never reveals her love life in public place!

of course, because I've been single since the day when I born. I've never been in a relationship, u know.

and it somehow sometimes sucks. I admit it.

Well, actually I have so many hopes and wishes, cannot mention one by one.

Anyway, happy new year! hoping you have a blast all along 2012. let's prove that the doom's day won't be happened this year. it's just a HOAX, dear.... hahaha
Only Allah knows.. la haula walaa quwwata illa billah. one of thd sign of being faithful is to believe that the doom's day will come, and to believe that only God knows the D-day... ain't it?

the same daydream

dear, long  time not talking about my days.
first, I wanna share something, that the last 2 days were such an unforgettable moment for me. I attended the student conference for the committee of Ormawa Sastra. I finally can know the rules of conducting a court. I know how it feels to learn the AD/ART of our organization. Also, we, the senators finally arranged the committee of the student legislative board. it is very nice to befriend with you guys, the senators....

FERY, WILDAN, NURIL, ALFU, BITA, YOGI, GHANY, FENTI, IRMA, NIZAR, ANDRI, ZAIN

Hopefully we can make a great improvement for our faculty, our Ormawa, our Legislative Board. Viva La Vida  Legislativa!

and this is the second. in this 25th of december, my aunt finally finishes her foot treatment. all the rotten wounds on her foot finally dried. soon she will go back to jakarta. Alhamdulillah...
everything I think is all about a plan to redecorate my bedroom. can't wait to be brought back to the place I am supposed to belong to. well, next semester I start to think about my thesis, I need a huge amount of concentration, and it only can be gained in my bedroom. Please Allah grant my wishes... amin ya robbal alamin =)

The redecorating plan is currently making me thinking about the same daydream, everytime I drown myself in my mom's bed before sleeping: To stop the time for several hours. those several hours will be used to go to the mall, and take eeeeeeeeeeeeverything I want especially those pink things from teenage accessories station to decorate my room. to take a pink recorder flute in musical instruments store. to take pink spiral note book. to take many kinds of L-sized dresses. to take cute drinking bottles. pink computer mouse. happy house doormat. hello kitty bedroom slippers.transparent umbrellas. colorful teenager backpacks. watches. wallets. spectacles. EEEEEEEEEVERYTHING I WANT. but no one recognize the things I take. ahahaaa, criminal mind. but this is only a daydream. it is only an imagination and I believe it can't made into a reality, I don't wanna do it for real. I know it's a crime, dude.

well, somehow, several days ago I have relieved myself from the stressful final week with buying a new pink gift wrapping paper (hah! I always buy gift wrapping papers and I don't use them at all!), some cute pink stationaries, and a pink hand fan. bismillah, hopefully it can boost up my spirit to start a new semester next year.

anyway, merry christmas for you all who celebrate :) GBU and happy enjoying a quality time with your whole family with fruitcakes and cookies :)
