Almost Robbed

Hi dear, I posted about my brother in my previous post and - unpredictably - the following day, my brother was hospitalized. It took 4 days for him to stay there and now he's back home. He got Dengue fever and typhoid.

Now, the main thing that I wanna share is: I was almost robbed last night.

It happened at 00.45 am when I was asleep. In my sleep, I dreamed about going to Ar rohmah putri with wearing trousers, and the senior teacher looked at me. Her look made me suddenly waken up. I woke up and heard something. I looked at my window.
Well, there's some trouble in the window lock and it causes my window unable to be locked perfectly. So, the window is still a little bit opened.
I always sleep with my lamp turned on and I can't sleep in the dark.

I saw there are hands trying to get into my room through the window, yes, I saw it behind my curtain. I was extremely surprised and shout, "WOY, OPO IKU WOEY!!! OPO IKU!!!!" (Hey, what's that?!!) then he/she ran away.

I conclude that he/she is a robber trying to get into my room.

I ran to the living room and turned on the light, and trying to go out to check whether he/she was still around my house. but my mom was waken up by the light. I told mom that there was almost a robbery.
We were quite panic and mom tried to call my neighbor, Mr. Sudjono, who is a police officer. Unfortunately, mom only has his wife's number.

Then I ensured everything to be safe. I tighten the window lock, turned all the lamps that make burglars suspicious towards what's inside my house. I checked everything and Thank God that it's all safe.
It was already 01.00 am and mom asked me to turn off my room's lamp and lock the door from outside, with previously saving my luxurious things (camera, laptop and wallet) inside my mom's room. then I continued sleeping in my brother's room (well he was hospitalized at that time)

I keep on reciting Al Ikhlas, Al falaq and An Nas while updating this status:

and also this:

Now I'm still a little bit traumatic with this accident. I ensure my window to be locked, but I still trust the window bars, so that burglars can't get into my room.

Lord, please protect me and my family from criminality. Amin.

Gotta go to sleep now. tomorrow there will be a shooting for making testimonial video with Swinging Friends Malang. hopefully the video will be displayed on mocca's last show. amin...

Good night, all. Get well soon, brother. Can't wait to see you wearing your grey uniform.

Friday, June 24, 2011

O My Lord, my brother is already a teenager. He's now an SMA student.

Seems that it was just yesterday when I still wore my blue and white uniform, queuing on SMAN 9 bringing the registration form and my UNAS scores, and waiting the result of PSB Online in internet cafe with my dad. But now, the blue-white uniform has been given to the orphans, and what's more, my senior high school diploma has been staying in my cupboard for 3 years.

Hi dear, it's been 6 years after I register myself on PSB Online, and now I have finished with the Senior Highschool years, and now I'm a junior student at college. now it's my brother's turn to step up on the higher phase of his life: being an SMA student.
He has graduated from his school, SMPN 5 Malang with good score. He has passed the worrying times of PSB Online, seeing his name eliminated from the most-favorited high school in town. Then finally Allah gives His decision, to put my brother in SMAN 8 Malang (smarihasta)

So, from now on, it will be easy for my brother to catch up with me or mom. Well, as Smarihasta is located near my university, it will be easy for him to meet me anytime he needs my help. also, as my mom's office is located across my university, he will also easy to meet my mom. just pass my campus through the veteran gate and take the semarang exit gate, ride for 1 minute and he'll arrive in my mom's office. hmm, let's see what will be happened next, then. He even hasn't start his MOS (new students orientation) yet.

Hmm, time passed me by and I can't deny.
somehow I feel so long with my high school years, when I learned how to ride a motorcycle for the first time, but I dared myself to go to sawojajar on my 17th birthday. I remembered when the first time I get interested with poems, and I was very productive writing more than 2 poems a week.

Now that I have to admit that I am not as productive as what I was.
I wondered why do I turned into this 'frozen' and it is sometimes hard for me to gain inspiration to write.

What has changed me, dear?

hoho, i'm not going to talk about that drastic change, i'm afraid that this post will be very long. hmm, there are some points in my past that has vapored as I grow up, but I considered them as the valuable ones and I want to get them back, but I don't know how to.

Well, this is a serious topic to be talked about and I don't think that reading my blog will be interesting with 'heavy' topics.
but I believe, I'm still the same Angie Pritha that you know, who is soooooo excited to talk about 'Mawar Gedhe' with the cliques: Ntoel, Asri, Ika, Muna, Ussi.
the same Angie who is dying for pink stationaries.

I'm still the same Angie, but I'm better and tougher, Insha Allah...

BTW, I just found my facebook friend updated this status:

Musibah bagi orang-orang yang meninggalkan shalat>shubuh:akan disiksa selama 60 tahun di neraka>dzuhur:dosanya seperti membunuh 1000 orang muslim>ashar:dosanya seperti orang yang meruntuhkan ka’bah>maghrib:dosanya seperti berzina dengan ibu/bapaknya>isya:Allah tidakmeridhai ia hidup dibumi dan didesak agar ia mencari bumi lain

Oh cr*p. Now that I can't remember how many times I skipped my prayers, and I don't know how to expiate my sins. How ?
well, this is a reminder for prayer-skippers.

Simpang Bogor 31, ormawa sastra's new address!

Firstly, here is the new performance of my blog. Ahahaaa… finally, I made my own header. new background is being prepared… )

Dear,
We, the ormawa sastra-ers (Organisasi Mahasiswa Fakultas Sastra), are now moving to a new office, located in Jalan Simpang Bogor 31 :)

DSCN0505
the front view

As what is planned by Mr. Rector, the J building –our palace- is going to be demolished, along with KOPMA and KPRI UM. It means that Ormawa Sastra -which is a part of J building- will be also demolished.

Then, a new location of Ormawa Sastra is prepared.
a 'rumah dinas' of a lecturer -which is actually a boarding house for students- is given to us, to be used as our office.
Looking at the room arrangement, I believe that it is more compatible to be used as a boarding house. There are approximately 8 rooms in the house and most of the rooms are 3x3-sized.

I wonder if the size fits for an office!

DSCN0494
Legato's office is this small.

The house is a two-stories house, and the upper floor is quite scary because it has NO balcony, and it faces directly to the downstairs. Lord, I thank you because we are all grown ups, no hyperactive children living in this house. I myself has a phobia towards stairs which is arranged with blank spaces between each steps and - what's worse- has no banisters!

DSCN0500
this is the 'scary' stair....

Fortunately my beloved legato is located in the 3rd room - it's on the 1st floor. and HMJ sasindo and HMJ arab are located upstairs.

Oh yeah - one more interesting thing about the new office: it is located exactly behind FMIPA's classes and it means I'm able to see good looking FMIPA guys having a class clearly! hahaaha..

DSCN0502
FMIPA can be seen this clearly! -- view from the upstairs

once I dreamed having a boyfriend from Physics department and is a committee of Nucleon (HMJ Fisika UM), so that I have an access to search the documents about the senior nucleoners, even in the 1986s. Guess what, I wanna search that very physics teacher of mine's personal data, then steal it, and show it to her. I can't wait to see her hair standing because of her surprised feeling seeing the data.

Hey, what the hell am I talking about..? hm, now, regarding the new office of Legato – and the other organizations in Ormawa Sastra, I think the size of our office –which is so small compared to our former office- is somehow giving advantages. In our former office, which size was approximately 3x9 meters, usually many boys are sitting in a circle, facing their laptop, and playing…. DOTA. they can spend hours having a date with this game, while their hands holding cigarette, and make a terrible smoke. Fortunately, I can deal with smokes because my dad is a smoker, and I have been used to be surrounded with smokes since I was very little.
Now, with this 3x3-sized office, those boys are no longer able to have their ‘DotA forum’ inside the office, therefore, they have to find another place to play dota.

Also, by having this small room, therefore we have to keep the tidiness, not to put our belongings everywhere, as we don’t have much space.

Legato has been renovated for 3 times and I am lucky for having a chance to experience all the conditions of Legato. The first time I join Legato, when I was a freshmen, legato was only 3x5 meters and we are located aside HMJ Arab’s room. Actually, we were located in one big room, then the big room was divided into 3 rooms with wooden boards. One big room for watching TV and putting our stuffs (kinda opened storage room), one room for HMJ arab and one for Legato.
Then, on the June 2010, all the HMJs were renovated. after it was finished, we got a new room which was twice bigger than our former room. With this spacious room we can put many boxes, and more people can stay at legato’s office.

when I was a freshmen.
look at legato office's appearance with its pink wall and football posters.

another corner of legato's former office before it was renovated

PLEASE DON'T TAKE A NOTICE ON DIONISIUS AND PUPAWA (Dion is the boy playing laptop and Pupawa is the sleeping boy), but please take a look at the office!
this is legato after renovated.

Now, we are placed in ‘an ex-boarding house’. Yes, some of us called it as a boarding house. We live in the same house! We have our own rooms. Apparently there will be a kitchen and a living room (hopefully, if it is not used as a storage space), and we have to take care of this house together.

I used to consider legato as a second home and a second family, and now by having this new office – that makes us even closer – I can love my big family more, and I can consider them as a family even more than before.

We are one big happy family living together in the same house, beautiful house, a comfortable place to be called as… HOME.

WE ARE SIMPANG BOGOR 31!

#MoccaStory(ies)

So, on mocca's twitter (@moccaofficial),the admin posted a topic named #MoccaStory. we are asked to tell our stories that involves mocca on it. But I don't think that 140 characters are enough to write all about it.

Dear mocca, It's me Angie, I'm a Swinging Friends from Malang, and here are my #MoccaStory(ies)
1. I once made a lypsinc video, singing It's over now and Do what you wanna do.
2. My birthday is one day before Arina
3. Many of mocca's lyrics are motivating me and the songs are cheering me up, therefore Mocca's songs are always dominating my playlist.
4. The first time I met mocca was on May 14th, 2011 when Mocca held their performance on Nevasca 2011, at Graha cakrawala UM. I also attended the Meet and greet, and I was involved as a committee. I joined the gathering with the other SF Malang members (Jono, Dewi, Icha, Eva, Rossa, Alfi, Wini, Deni, Nita, Novita, Nuri, and many more). I'm very glad to make friends with them.

On the meet and greet, I asked Arina whether she has got a new dog to replace zeus. Hopefully, she still remembers that question and me - the one who asked.
After the meet and greet - with its photo session and photo-signing - I drank a glass of tea which was actually served for Arina, but she didn't drink it. It was a plain tea.
5. Then when I heard about mocca's plan to be off (or 'vacuumed'?) for a while because Arina's plan to get married, I sighed and remembered my plan to apply a scholarship to USA. Well, hopefully I can win the scholarship and be settled nearby Arina's place :))

Dear Mocca, those are my stories, i hope that they're impressive for you, cz for me they are indeed unforgettable.

smanawa HANDMADE show :))

After 3 years graduated from senior high school, I've been always waiting for smanawa's events that can gather the alumni, and one of them is : SMANAWA HANDMADE SHOW. this event is actually a part of Fine Arts subject's final assignment. Yeah - during they are studying Fine Arts as one of their subjects, they are required to make many handicrafts. They worked very hard - yeah, I've experienced it, being taught by Mr Heru Sutrisno and be given a lot of assignments of making so many handicrafts. Here are a short documentation of my junior's great work that makes me proud of them.

those are just a few of soooooooooooo many gorgeous artworks made by my junior. I'm proud of you guys, and I admit that I wasn't as creative as you are. Your very hard work during these 4 semesters are highly appreciated, and I can't wait to see the next exhibition by your juniors.

Oh yeah, next saturday there will be BUNKASAI (japanese culture festival). this is the 3rd time SMANAWA holds a bunkasai. the first was in my era, on 2007. then the second was on 2010. I can't wait to dress up in Harajuku way on that event. Love y'all smanawa... I'm still a smanawer although I'm already in my 5th semester!

Last? err... LAST!

what is so wrong about the word LAST ?

Lastrini? Lasmiatun? Laskar pelangi, or errrrr.... laksmisari? *BRUAKKKKK! that physics teacher agaaain*
Heaaah.... what the hell I'm talking about xD~

Hi dear, this very SwingingFriends is influenced by this issue, so that she writes this post:
Mocca is about to hold their LAST SHOW. they are going to be off from any shows for a very long time, but they said that they will keep on producing songs.

HAAAARGH! How long do they mean by 'long'? What do they mean by informing us that mocca is going to stop holding a show for a long term?

How long is their LONG? How do they define LONG ?

I don't want to be dried on waiting for them.

Does it mean that we can't invite them on gigs ?

Dear readers, mocca is different with the other bands in Indonesia. Their English songs, their melody, their lyrics..... are unlike the other bands who expose tearful lyrics which talk about desperate feeling.
Mocca's lyrics are also motivating and cheering up. (hehe, they're mas Riko Prayitno's work)

Mocca, you deserve to be a LEGEND.

well, I heard from twitter that mocca will be off for a while because Arina is going to get married. Her fiance, Cris Miller, is an American. They will hold their wedding in the US, and Arina will live in America permanently.

Looooord!! Please tell me that Mocca are still able to hold concerts although Arina is in the US! no matter how xD~

Lord, please grant my wishes to get the AMINEF scholarship, and please depart me after Arina's marriage, and settle me in the same neighborhood with Arina. Then I can meet her easily and go out together with her :). Who knows, I can establish Swinging Friends USA. Amiiiiin , Insya Allah :))

*what a wish!* OK, dreams are real. Keep praying and struggling :)

a girl with 40-41 for the shoe size.

I went to sidoarjo yesterday to visit my nephews. After visiting my nephews, I (and my family) went to Puspa Agro market, and also.... tanggulangin :))

I've never been there before, but I was so pleased to see the shoes... well, as a girl with 40-41 for the shoe size, it's really-really hard for me to find a good female shoes in those sizes. And there, in tanggulangin, I found many kinds of female shoes, many of them are number 41 (even some of them are 42 and 43!), and they are soo much cheaper compared to shoes I bought in Malang.
now, the question is:

SHOULD I GO FARAWAY TO SIDOARJO TO FIND GOOD 41-SIZED FEMALE SHOES AT AFFORDABLE PRIZE???

Somehow i feel desperate looking at many kinds of beautiful shoes, but no one fits my size.
I finally bought a maroon pointy-shoes, it costs IDR 85k. For me, it's quite cheap, cz in Malang, this kind of shoes costs at least IDR 100k.

and, here they are what I'm dying for...

these BOOTS!!! OMG, they cost only IDR 80K!!!, and they are absolutely AWESOME! I WANNA HAVE ONE.....!!!

but my parents said, "What for?"

Actually, these boots can be matched with a black legging and a thigh-length sackdress (cz I don't want to wear mini-skirt, LOL).

Dear Lord, should I go to Sidoarjo to get those cool stuffs?
I don't know when else do I have a chance to go to Tanggulangin.

New neighbor?

I'm living in a housing complex with 9 houses on it, but only 4 houses occupied. here I explain about my neighborhood:

Kav. 1: Pak Haji tamsil's house, the biggest house in this area.
Kav. 2: an empty land.
Back then, there was a coconut tree and this land was a grass-field, with many wild plants growing in this land. Then, when I was about 14 years old, my neighbor - Mr. Rochim, lived in Kav. 4- who is a contractor, borrow this land from the owner (I forgot the name of the owner, but I heard he's an Arabic man and he's an al-Hajj) to be used as a storage of his building equipments. Therefore, as the land was used as a storage, this land was covered with a kind of metal wavy board (seng gelombang, in bahasa).
A few years later, there was a building process on that land, but I couldn't see clearly what building was that. The building process was done behind that wavy board, many workers went in-and-out the ground. Mommy said to me that this was a project held by a neighbor living on kav. 3. Not long after that, probably on 2009, the wavy board was removed - after many years! then I could see what's behind it : yes, a kind of hall. My mommy said that the very neighbor - who had this project - conducted the project WITHOUT asking permission to the owner of the land, and she also caused a big loss towards Mr. Rochim's belonging stored in the land. therefore, now the hall was demolished, and here stays the ruins. The cemented floor, two destroyed bathrooms, and a banner that shows that this land is: FOR SALE.

Somehow Pak Haji tamsil also complained with the building process of this hall, because it was done without permission from other neighbors. It disturbed him a lot.

Kav 3 : This house belonged to Mr. Djati, whose first son was my schoolmate. The whole family were suddenly gone without giving information.
Mrs Djati was a legislative candidate, but failed on her campaign. I heard that the cost of making the billboards, pamphlets, and any kinds of her campaign attribute was paid through... DEBT. yes, she had a big deal of debt since her enjoin in the campaign. Therefore, to pay the debt, she sold her house and moved away with her family, they moved without telling the neighbors where did she moved.

Kav 4: this house is Mr. Rochim's. He lived there with his wife and his 4 children. But now, the whole family moved to bojonegoro, and only come to this house in vacations.

Kav 5: It was Mr. Samsugi's house. Now he and his family had moved to jogjakarta and the house is now for sale.

Kav 6: It is Mr Darmadji's house. Mr. Darmadji works on West java and his wife stays here, at their home, with her youngest daughter. the other children had graduated and worked outside the town. Now that the youngest daughter has finished her high school, and she will continue her study in Bogor. Then, the house is going to be sold.

Kav 7: This house was Mr. Sutrisno's, but he left the house on 1999. It had been empty for years. Then, suddenly, there's a family occupied it. You know what, THEY DON'T INTRODUCE THEMSELVES TO THE NEIGHBORS, EVEN TO THE PAK RT! What a neighbor...

But I want to know them, somehow...

Kav 8: this house was Mr. Phillip's house. He was from Kuwait, marrying an Indonesian woman. They lived there not for a very long time. then they moved to Kuwait and the house was left empty. Daddy said that it was for sale, but no one wants to buy.

Kav 9: An empty house owned by a judge. At first, it was rented to college students. but now, it is empty.

Kav 10: MY HOUSE...

Kav 11 and 12 are also houses rented by some male college students. I don't know who the owners are.

that's a little explanation about the houses in my complex. Now, this morning, I saw my daddy talked with some men in Mr. Djati's house. Well, Mr. Djati's house had been empty for 2 years, no wonder it becomes so dirty and is neglected. I heard from my dad that the men is about to move to Mr. Djati's house. Alhamdulillah, I'll get a new neighbor... so that my complex will not be this silent.

I remember when I was a kid I used to play with Bunga, the daughter of Mr. Sutrisno. Until she moved to Jl. Raflessia. Since Bunga moved away, I felt so empty, until I grown up.

Hopefully my new neighbor will be nice :)

Howdy!

Hi dear!
I've finished the stressful week (e.g. the final exam week) and now I'm free! (but still I'm nervous waiting for my grades to come out. Hopefully I got many A-s, therefore my GPA will increase, amin....)
I've been sick for this week, :-(. I got a terrible toothache and I need a new plumbing. Now I have to be careful to chew everything I eat.

Well, my little brother has just arrived from his class vacation in Bali. Before his departure, I gave him IDR 20k and said, "Please buy me bracelets. Many bracelets. Spend all these money to get me those", and here is what I got:

I didn't know why suddenly I'm into wooden bracelets. I want to collect more. These bracelets are very cheap! I got 20 bracelets by 20k rupiahs! Perhaps someday if I have a chance to travel to Bali, I'd like to buy moooore wooden bracelets. Oh, FYI, I gave one bracelet to Mbak Prima, my senior at college.

Hmpfth, it's June 1st already. My colleague in SMA Ar Rohmah putri told me that last week was the very last week of our learning activity. Then we are going to arrange the scores for the report card.

Hahaaaa.... then I will be off from my teaching activity for approximately one month!
I can play volley ball with my friends at Access English Center then!! Happy welcoming your freedom, students :)
Too bad to be jailed too long, do everything you want, sist.... fufufufufu.

Guys, this is what's happening in my school, Ar Rohmah Putri: there will be a new dormitory, and it is still being built now. I don't think that the new building will be completely finished on July. Most probably on august. So that my student said: "Miss, probably we will be given a 0ne-month holiday, for waiting the building to be finished"
And I just said, "It will be more practical if the holiday period is extended, so that you will have the whole Ramadhan at home, and you will go back to school after Idul Fitri festival"

They said, "WE HOPE SO, MISS....."
