Suatu pagi aku denger lagu ini di radio kesayanganku. I was surprised. you know what, this song reminds me about a drama that I play with my friends when I was in Elementary School!

SD ku tercinta, MIJS Malang yang kini telah berubah jadi SD Insan Amanah!

Drama yang kami pentaskan itu berjudul Don't Stop Never Give Up. drama ini diarahkan oleh guru bahasa Indonesia kami, bu Ufi Nuskhayati (yang sampai sekarang masih aku rindukaaan.... oh Bu Ufi, pakabar??). tuh drama kita pentasin tahun 2002, pas aku klas 6. tepatnya pas upacara hari kemerdekaan. kenangan ini sudah 8 tahun yang lalu. dan lagu ini bener2 mbangkitin kenanganku pada drama itu, walau sudah agak lupa sama ceritanya.

ini sekilas ceritanya:

Suatu hari, di jaman penjajahan belanda, sekelompok anak sedang sedih karena gak rela melepas teman2nya, para tentara, pergi ke medan laga. kemudian teman2nya yang lain pada ngehibur dan membesarkan hati mereka, sambil nyanyi2 Don't stop never give up. para tentara itupun ikut ngeyakinin anak2 itu bahwa mereka bakalan baik2 saja.

hingga tibalah saat tentara belanda semakin mendekat. saatnya bagi kita untuk mengungsi. akhirnya, ketua grup kami membagi kami dalam 3 tim. tim laga, tim kesehatan sama tim dapur. semua pun memilih tim masing2 yang mereka inginkan. hanya satu yang nggak mau gabung tim, yaitu si Anggit. aku inget banget dia berdialog seperti ini:

"Kalo aku ikut tim laga, ntar dor-dor klepek-klepek mati. kalo ikut tim kesehatan, ih banyak orang sakit panu, ketularan ntar... kalo ikut tim dapur.... mm, disana kan banyak makanan.... AKU IKUT TIM DAPUR....!"

hehe.... itulah sepenggal kecil kisah drama Don't Stop Never Give up arahan Bu Ufi. sori rek kalo aku ceritanya mblenjat2 dan cuma sepotong2. maklum udah nggak inget.
